FAQs

Does this teach me how to write a screenplay?

Other people that already do that and I do not consider myself an authority on screenwriting. I've laid out all the steps any experienced screenwriter already knows, while also making it easy for beginners to follow along.

Will this help me write a screenplay I could sell to Hollywood?

I can't say. But I can say that I highly encourage writers to write for the type of movie they themselves would pay to see in a theater, not for the market. If anything, I firmly believe that people should figure out a way to make movies themselves (see my Web Series Production Dashboard).

Will this make me a better screenwriter?

Only if you don't already have a system in place that tracks your screenwriting project, has hundreds of storytelling elements right in font of you to define for your story, creates a base layer of pre-written material for you to start from, and saves you a lot of story development time, then yes, I believe this will make you a better screenwriter.
